Ladies & Gentlemen

We got a little off topic one day in my 7th grade class. My students gave me a list of characteristics that defined a "Lady" & a "Gentleman." It was very telling. Here are a few of their thoughts:

LADY:

1. Doesn't talk dirty
2. Wears clothes that cover her body
3. Uses manners
4. Smart

GENTLEMAN:

1. Opens the door
2. Is clean
3. Uses manners
4. Doesn't fight
